FAQ

How does my roller work?

Our tobaccos and cannabis rollers are simple to operate but they do take a little practice. Most of our customers find it helpful to watch the “how to” videos first. Here is a link to the tutorial videos. If after watching the tutorial videos you still can't get the roll you are hoping for, please get in touch. We may have a few hints that will will.

How and where are King Rollers made?

All of our products are handcrafted at our family run shop in Belgrade Montana. We use some pretty awesome power tools to help us prep the wood and cut out the parts but everything is assembled and finished by hands.

What materials are the cigarette rollers made from?

Our cigarette, joint, cigar rolling machines, and accessories are made from solid furniture grade hardwoods. All our rollers are made from walnut or mahogany.  The rest of the hardware is solid brass or stainless steel. The rolling cloth is a synthetic and is very durable and easy to clean. Once assembled, our rollers are finished with a natural beeswax-based finish.

What rolling papers should I buy?

The Ace roller is designed to use standard size 3-inch by 1¼-inch rolling papers. These papers work great in our larger rollers as well, but they limit the length of your smoke. The Tumbleweed, Deuce, and Long Bed can be used with longer papers and blunt wraps. Both Raw and Elements make 5-meter rolls of paper that can be cut at the desired length. These are ideal for longer rolls.

Can you roll other things besides tobacco?

Our cigarette and joint rolling machines work equally well for rolling shredded tobacco leaf and ground cannabis flower. Our cigar rollers and to some degree the Long Bed can be used to roll cannagars or cigars with whole leaf tobacco but can also be used to roll regular joints, blunts and cigarettes.

Which cigarette roller should I order?

Assuming you have to pick just one, it’s going to depend on how you plan to use it. If you plan to roll only standard size cigarettes or joints, the Ace is the perfect cigarette roller. It’s small and easy to take with you and gets the job done. If you want the flexibility of a smaller roller that still rolls longer and thicker cigarettes, joints and blunts, the Tumbleweed’s 6-inch capacity makes it a great option and it also work great with backwoods wraps. If you are looking for more of a pre-roll machine and your goal is uniformity, the Deuce might be the best option. The Long Bed roller is great for blunts, stubby cigars, and works well with whole left tobacco but it might be a bit large to pack around with you. The Cigar Roller is ideal for rolling regular size cigars or full size cannagars but can also be used to roll smaller blunts and joints.

Will I need to replace the cloth?

With normal use it takes a good long while to wear out the rolling cloth but it can happen, especially if used for production purposes. If you damage the rolling cloth or use it to death, we've made it pretty easy to replace. Just email us and we can sell you a replacement and walk you through it. Eventually you will be able to order them through the website.

What should I use to clean my roller?

Both the rolling cloth and roller can be cleaned with a light dish/hand soap and water. If the cloth gets sticky with resin from rolling cannabis, rubbing alcohol works wonders. Be careful to keep the alcohol off of the wood as it can remove the wax finish.
